Manhattan
- Susan Adamchak was unanimously elected mayor as Manhattan's city commission seated three new members who pledged to shift the body's culture. The new commissioners Larry Fox, Jim Morrison, and Andrew Von Lintel replaced three departing members. →
- The Miller Ranch water tower is back online after complete rehabilitation featuring fresh paint displaying the city flag. Contractor USG completed interior upgrades and structural repairs under the city's 10-year maintenance agreement. →
- The commission unanimously approved a five-year agreement with Pepsi-Cola of Manhattan for beverage products at city concession stands. The deal includes naming rights for 'Gatorade Field' and a $4,000 annual contribution to parks. →
- The commission honored retiring City Clerk Brenda Wolf with a proclamation declaring Jan. 9, 2026 as Brenda K. Wolf Day. Wolf served the city for more than 30 years, including 25 years as deputy clerk. →
