Hutchinson Community Foundation awards $28,301 for Fox Theatre boiler project

HUTCHINSON, KS — The Fund for Reno County of Hutchinson Community Foundation has awarded $28,301 to Hutchinson's Historic Fox Theatre for a boiler installation project.

The grant, provided through the Community & Economic Development program as part of the 2025 Impact Cycle 2, contributed to the installation of a new boiler at the theater to ensure audience comfort, support year-round programming and preserve the historic landmark.

The project aims to ensure the Fox Theatre remains a cornerstone of downtown Hutchinson by replacing essential infrastructure to keep the building safe, comfortable and operational year-round. The improvements are intended to preserve the historic venue for future generations while supporting downtown revitalization, tourism and economic activity in the region.
