Hutchinson Art Center to host Empty Bowls fundraiser for Reno County food banks

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Art Center will host its annual Empty Bowls fundraiser Thursday, October 16, from 5 to 7 p.m., raising money for local food banks in Reno County.

The event offers participants a handcrafted ceramic bowl and a serving of chili for $15 per adult or $5 for children under 12.

Empty Bowls is a yearly fundraiser that supports food security efforts in the community. All proceeds will go directly to the Reno County Food Bank.

This year's sponsors include Bogey's Jr., Fee Insurance Group, Hubco Inc., Ken's Pizza, Mi Tierra, Rion Rhoades PA, Roy's Hickory Pit BBQ, R&B Drive In and Smith's Market.
