The Buhler High School Crusaders (1-0) faced the Augusta High School Orioles (0-1) in an Ark Valley Chisholm Trail Conference game on Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, at Buhler Crusader Stadium.
The first half of the game was a tight contest, with both teams feeling out the opponent. The contest started with the Crusaders intercepting an Orioles pass on the first play from scrimmage.
In the second half, the Crusaders took control on both offense and defense. The key player for Buhler was senior running back No. 22 Ben Clouse, who consistently challenged the Augusta defense, breaking off several long runs, including two that resulted in touchdowns.
For Augusta, the standout player on offense was senior quarterback No. 1 Brody Haskel. He led the Orioles' efforts with several long passes that set up their scoring opportunities.
