United Way offers free mental health support to Reno County residents
Information obtained from United Way of Reno County

HUTCHINSON — United Way of Reno County is offering free access to 7 Cups, an online mental and emotional support platform, to all county residents.
The service connects users with trained volunteer listeners who provide confidential emotional support at any time. Founded by psychologist Glen Moriarty, 7 Cups was created to ensure everyone has someone to talk to during difficult times.
"How can I make being heard a reality for everyone?" Moriarty said, reflecting on the platform's origins.
The service addresses a growing need for mental health resources in communities where people may feel isolated despite being surrounded by others.

Reno County residents can access premium features, including growth paths and community discussions, by using the password "uwreno" at www.uwrenocounty.org/other-united-way-programs.
While the listening service is free, one-on-one online therapy sessions offered through 7 Cups require separate payment by subscribers.
United Way of Reno County is located at 111 N. Walnut Street, Suite B, in Hutchinson. More information is available at (620) 669-9329 or info@unitedwayofrenocounty.org.
