Two Hutchinson officers graduate from Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Officers Jayson Kidd and Zachary Hobbs of the Hutchinson Police Department have graduated from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center's Class 351, the department announced Friday, Jan. 16.

The officers are scheduled to begin field training in the coming weeks, according to a post on the department's Facebook page.

The Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center provides basic training for law enforcement officers throughout the state. Graduates complete coursework in criminal law, defensive tactics, firearms training and other essential police skills before beginning supervised field work with their respective agencies.

The Hutchinson Police Department, located at 210 W. 1st Ave., serves the city of Hutchinson in central Kansas. The department's stated core values include honesty, integrity and professionalism.
