Street closure planned for SW Bricktown Fiesta Saturday

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A section of 1st Avenue will be closed Saturday, Oct. 18 to accommodate the SW Bricktown Fiesta, according to the City of Hutchinson.
The street will be closed from Jefferson to Madison between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. Saturday to facilitate the community event at SW Bricktown Park.
The fiesta, scheduled from 4 to 11 p.m., will feature live music from Zecreto Norteño and 620 In The Mix, along with live boxing presented by the Reno County Boxing Academy. Food trucks, a Kermes and family-friendly activities will be available throughout the evening.
Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes during the closure period.
