Street Art Talk, workshop set for Oct. 9 at Hutchinson Library

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Public Library and Hutchinson Community College will host an evening exploring street art through a presentation and hands-on workshop at 6 p.m. Oct. 9 at the library, 901 N. Main St.

Professor Kim Ivancovich will present on the history and origins of street art, examining its cultural impact, artistic evolution and the voices behind the movement.

Following the talk, participants will create their own sketchbook covers in a hands-on workshop. All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary.
