State Farm Employees Join Habitat Build for 43rd County Home

MCPHERSON, Kan. — State Farm Insurance employees from the Jim LaDuke and Galen Shields agency joined volunteers this week to begin construction on McPherson Habitat for Humanity's 43rd home in McPherson County, located at 920 N. Maple Street. The nonprofit organization builds simple, affordable homes for low-income families with housing needs, relying on volunteer labor and local donations to make homeownership possible. State Farm supported this year's construction efforts with a $20,000 grant.
