Scenic Drive to close nightly for pavement restriping
Overnight closures run June 8-11 between Wildcat Creek Road and Miller Parkway
MANHATTAN, Kan. — A stretch of Scenic Drive will close to through traffic overnight starting June 8 as crews repaint pavement markings to improve roadway safety. The nightly closures will run from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. through June 11, shutting down the road from south of Wildcat Creek Road to north of Miller Parkway to all but local and emergency vehicles. While the intersections at Wildcat Creek Road and Miller Parkway will remain open during the project, officials urge drivers without a destination in the work zone to use alternate routes.
