Happy Election Day! Citizen Journal will have journalists in Kansas City, Topeka, Wichita, and McPherson tonight tracking the going-ons of watch parties and the mood as the night progresses.

This has shaped up to be an interesting night. Kansas, which has been historically a safely Republican state, could become a swing state tonight. All eyes are on the U.S. Senate seat, where incumbent Senator Roger Marshall, R-Kan. is trying to keep his job for another six years. Adam Hamilton, his opponent, is trying to take it.

Don't forget about the gubernatorial race, where term-limited Governor Laura Kelly will be leaving Topeka. Ty Masterson of the GOP is fighting to flip the seat, while the Democrats' Cindy Holscher aims to keep the governorship under Democratic control.

Safe to say, nobody knows what will happen tonight. Between those races, a Kansas House that could follow the coattails of tonight and break the supermajority, other statewide races, and ballot measures that range from voter ID to new bonds in your city, there's a lot to keep track of tonight.

We'll be helping guide you through it all. The polls are open for another four hours, so if you haven't gotten around to it, make sure to go vote!
