Salthawk Football teams with Boys & Girls Clubs for food drive
Information obtained from Boys & Girls Clubs of Hutchinson

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Salthawk Football is partnering with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hutchinson for a food drive during the team's final home game of the regular season Friday, Oct. 24.
Coach Vernon and the football team are requesting donations of non-perishable items to support the local youth organization. Last year, Salthawk football fans contributed 600 pounds of food to the Boys & Girls Clubs.
Requested items include canned goods, hamburger helper, pasta, cereal, peanut butter, granola bars, fruit snacks, boxed meals and drink mixes. Organizers emphasize no expired items should be donated.

Donations can be dropped off next week at the Hutchinson High School main office or at the game in the Boys & Girls Clubs van, which will be parked on the west side of Gowans in the Cosmosphere parking lot.
The food drive represents Salthawk Football's commitment to community service and youth support. The partnership aims to provide essential food items to families served by the Boys & Girls Clubs while bringing the community together during the final regular-season home game.
For more information about drop-off locations and times, contact the Hutchinson High School main office.
