GREAT BEND — Sophomore Lolo Rudolph hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to cap a comeback from a 10-point deficit as Hutchinson Community College upset No. 15 Barton 58-57 on Wednesday night, Dec. 3, at Fleske Fieldhouse.

Rudolph's game-winner, his only basket of the game, snapped Hutchinson's seven-game losing streak against the Cougars.

The Blue Dragons (7-4, 2-3 KJCCC) trailed 57-55 with 23 seconds remaining when they forced Barton into a shot clock violation. Hutchinson guard Daleron Thomas drew a double-team in the right corner before finding Rudolph, who drove past a defender and pulled up for the winning shot.

Sophomore Kyrell Shaw led all scorers with 18 points, including 14 in the second half to break a two-game scoring slump. Shaw shot 8 of 16 from the field and grabbed six rebounds.

Bobby Cannon added 10 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Kordell Williams had eight points and Thomas finished with seven.

Hutchinson shot 45.3% (24 of 53) and committed just 12 turnovers.

Noah Williams recorded a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds for Barton (8-3, 3-2 KJCCC). Jayden Ramirez and Aris Rodriguez each scored 10 points.

The Cougars shot a season-low 28.8% (17 of 59), including 5 of 22 from 3-point range.

Barton led 26-20 at halftime and extended its advantage to 32-22 early in the second half. The Blue Dragons held the Cougars to 32.1% shooting after intermission to fuel the comeback.

Hutchinson grabbed its first lead when Asher Boney hit a corner 3-pointer with 2:26 remaining for a 55-54 advantage. Rodriguez made three free throws to put Barton back ahead 57-55 with 1:18 left before Rudolph's heroics.

The victory marked Hutchinson's second comeback from double figures this season. The Blue Dragons rallied from 11 down to beat Butler 83-82 on Nov. 22.
