Riley County Police report 11 arrests over weekend
MANHATTAN, Kan. — The Riley County Police Department reported 11 arrests and 10 citations during a three-day period from Oct. 10-13, according to the agency's daily news reports.
The arrests included multiple charges related to driving under the influence, drug possession, and failure to appear warrants.
Arrests by Date:
Oct. 10:
- Keshaun Jakese Thompson, 20, of Junction City, was arrested at 7:33 p.m. on charges of driving under the influence, possession of marijuana and use of drug paraphernalia.
- Hannah May Denton, 23, of Manhattan, was arrested at 6:04 p.m. for driving under the influence, second conviction.
- Susan Rosario Rodriguez Armendariz, 35, of Manhattan, was arrested at 5:25 p.m. for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended and no vehicle liability insurance.
Oct. 3:
- Sadie Lynn Donahue, 23, of Concordia, was arrested at 12:34 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant.
Oct. 12:
- John Porter Anderson, 22, of Manhattan, was arrested at 12:55 a.m. for trespass on property with critical infrastructure at the NBAF shipping facility.
- Lori Aann Bryant, 63, of Manhattan, was arrested at 11:10 p.m. for driving under the influence, first conviction.
- Alejandro Roman Garcia, 26, of Topeka, was arrested at 3:20 p.m. on two failure to appear warrants.
- Kelton Mack Swarts, 19, of Manhattan, was arrested at 1:58 p.m. for driving while license suspended and trafficking contraband in a correctional facility.
- Rebekah Lynn Marie Doyal, 29, of Manhattan, was arrested at 11:52 a.m. for failure to comply with diversion.
Oct. 13:
- Garcia was arrested two additional times, at 1:56 a.m. and 1:48 a.m., on separate failure to appear warrants.
Citations Summary:
Police issued 10 citations during the three-day period. Four traffic citations were issued Oct. 11 for violations including failure to yield right of way, inattentive driving and improper driving on a laned road. No citations were reported Oct. 12.
Six citations were issued Oct. 13, including notable charges for battery, criminal damage to property and alcohol-related offenses involving minors. One person was cited for driving with a cancelled, suspended or revoked license.
The police department noted that report information was collected during 24-hour periods and may not be complete. Some names, addresses and case details are withheld to follow local, state and federal laws protecting community members.
