Reno County to Host KanCare-Medicaid Overview Session

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County will host a community education session on KanCare-Medicaid Sept. 26 at 9:30 a.m. as part of its Community Collaboration Series.
The overview session will be held at 120 West Ave. B in Hutchinson and will feature guest speaker Kimberly Mies, who will provide information about Kansas' Medicaid program.
The educational event is presented by the Reno County Department of Aging through its Information and Outreach Program. Coordinator Cara Conaway is organizing the session and handling registration requests.

The Community Collaboration Series is designed to provide residents with information about available services and programs that may benefit them or their families.
KanCare is Kansas' managed care program that coordinates Medicaid services for eligible residents, including healthcare, behavioral health and long-term care services.
