HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County Sheriff's Office honored Detective Sgt. Corey Graber as he retired following nearly 29 years of law enforcement service.
Graber began his career with the agency in 1997 as a jail deputy before advancing through a range of roles, including patrol and SWAT, ultimately rising to lead the Drug Enforcement Unit.

Sheriff's officials credited Graber with demonstrating consistent leadership and integrity throughout his tenure and said his influence would endure through the deputies he mentored and the community members he served.
"His impact will be felt for years to come," the agency said in a statement.

Graber's retirement marks the close of a career that spanned nearly three decades with the same agency — a tenure officials described as defined by a deep commitment to public safety.
No replacement has been announced.
