Reno County residents invited to apply for leadership development program

HUTCHINSON — The Hutchinson Community Foundation is seeking applicants for its 2026 Transformational Leadership Cohort, an eight-month program designed to develop leadership skills while addressing downtown revitalization challenges in Reno County.

The program will select 15 participants to work on adaptive community challenges related to activating downtowns throughout Reno County. The initiative aligns with priorities identified in the 2024 and 2025 Love Where You Live Resident Perception surveys and the Elevate Reno County Economic Development Strategic Plan.

Most sessions will be held in Hutchinson, with two multi-day sessions scheduled at the Kansas Leadership Center in Wichita. The cohort will run from May through December. Previous KLC experience is not required.

Interested Reno County residents must complete an application by Feb. 27. Program details, requirements and the full timeline are available at https://hutchcf.org/ini.../leadership-development/klc-cohort.
