Reno County Fire District holds open house for new station

NICKERSON, Kan. — Reno County Fire District No. 1 will host an open house for its new Station 31 on Saturday, Feb. 28.

The facility, located at 206 S. Burr, is complete and operational. The public is invited to tour the new fire station and meet personnel from 4 to 7 p.m..

Potato soup, garlic bread and dessert will be served.

Visitors should park in the rear and enter from the north off Avenue G, or park in front of the old station.
