Reno County employees join 300 volunteers for United Way Community Work Day

HUTCHINSON — Reno County employees, families and friends participated in the United Way of Reno County's Community Work Day on Saturday, Oct. 11, painting a home at the corner of 20th and Adams Street.

The county's volunteer team was among more than 300 community members who worked on over 20 projects across the area during the annual service event.

"From start to finish, Reno County was proud to take part," county officials said in announcing the project's completion.

The Community Work Day brought together volunteers from throughout Reno County to complete home improvement and community enhancement projects in a single day of coordinated service.

County officials thanked employees and their families and friends who donated their time and skills to the effort.
