Reno county deputy arrests driver clocked at 107 mph in 65 mph zone

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Reno County Sheriff's deputy arrested a driver Oct. 16 after clocking the vehicle traveling 107 mph in a posted 65 mph zone on Yoder Road south of U.S. Highway 50.
The deputy conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver on charges of driving while revoked and reckless driving, according to a statement from the Reno County Sheriff's Office.
The Sheriff's Office credited a concerned citizen who also called in to report the dangerous driving behavior.
"We'd like to thank the concerned citizen who also called in to report this dangerous driver," the agency said in a social media post.
No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
