Reno County Commission proclaims Community Foundation Week

RENO COUNTY — On Wednesday, Nov. 12, the Reno County Commission proclaimed Nov. 12-18 Community Foundation Week in Reno County.
The proclamation, read by Commission Chairman Don Bogner, recognized the importance of the community's philanthropic sector and charitable giving from residents, businesses and organizations. It also highlighted the role community foundations play in addressing critical issues, strengthening other nonprofits, and rooting and accelerating wealth through local investments in businesses and projects.
Director of Strategy Kari Mailloux was on hand to receive the proclamation and spoke to commissioners about the work and impact of Hutchinson Community Foundation in Reno County.
