Pawnee Mental Health to Host 'Inspiring Hope & Help' Auction for Community Services

MANHATTAN, Kan. — Pawnee Mental Health Services will host its "Inspiring Hope & Help" auction Oct. 2-3 to raise funds for essential mental health services across 10 north central Kansas counties.
The fundraiser features both a live auction Thursday, Oct. 2, at the K-State Alumni Center, 1720 Anderson Ave., and an online auction running from Sunday, Sept. 21, through Friday, Oct. 3.
"Your participation in Pawnee's event goes beyond placing a bid; it's a lifeline for our community," organizers said. "Every contribution directly funds essential services, providing hope and assistance to those in need."
Event Details
The live auction will feature food catered by One Egg Group and impactful stories about how Pawnee Mental Health's work makes a difference in the community. Attendees will be able to preview all online auction items and participate in bidding.
The online auction, hosted by Gavel Road Online Auction, will feature items from both inside and outside Pawnee's service area. The first online item closes at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3.
Service Impact
Pawnee Mental Health Services provides a full range of psychotherapy, crisis, medication management, and substance use recovery services to approximately 7,000 adults, adolescents, and children each year throughout 10 north central Kansas counties.
The organization is the only provider in its service area that welcomes anyone in need of mental health services, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year - regardless of their insurance, status as a client, or ability to pay.
The counties served include Clay, Cloud, Geary, Jewell, Marshall, Mitchell, Pottawatomie, Republic, Riley and Washington.
Pawnee Mental Health Services is a private, not-for-profit community mental health center, one of 26 in Kansas. The organization's mission is to provide compassionate, person-centered care that fosters healing, empowerment and resilience.
Participation Information
Event tickets are available for the live auction. Organizers encourage attendees to bring friends, spouses or co-workers to the evening event.
For the online auction, participants can create an account at Gavel Roads and browse available items. Bidders will receive email notifications if they are outbid.
