New Coffee Shop Opens at McPherson College Campus Commons

McPherson College students and community members now have a new gathering spot with the opening of Aspretto, a coffee shop located inside the Campus Commons that welcomed its first customers during Homecoming weekend, September 26-28. The shop offers classic coffeehouse favorites including Americanos, cappuccinos, mochas and lattes, along with tea, hot chocolate, iced coffees, chai lattes and frappes, with food options expected to be added soon.

Aspretto represents an international brand of ethically sourced coffee and tea provided by Sodexo, the college's food service provider, with an emphasis on corporate social responsibility through fair trade practices. The coffee shop is open to both students and the general public Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., creating a new social hub on campus while providing convenient access to quality beverages for the broader McPherson community.
