New Coffee Cafe Hosted Sneak Peek Open House Saturday in Yoder

YODER, Kan. — A new coffee shop offered the public a preview of its facilities during a limited sneak peek open house this past Saturday. The open house coincided with the Yoder Heritage Day event.

Roots Coffee Co., located in Yoder, provided bottled drinks, packaged snacks and merchandise during the event, according to a social media announcement. The business also offered gift cards and access to restrooms and air conditioning.

The coffee shop emphasized that employees have not yet completed training, which began Monday, August 25. Full food and beverage service was not available during Saturday's preview event.

"For the first time ever, we are thrilled to open our doors to you, our friends and neighbors," the business stated in its announcement.

The company indicated visitors should look for details about the official opening date during Saturday's event.

Roots Coffee Co. has not yet announced when regular operations will begin or provided additional details about menu offerings and hours of operation.
