McPherson senior is a three-time state cross country champion and academic honoree.
MCPHERSON, Kan. — McPherson varsity boys cross country and track senior Caleb Muehler has been named a Kansas Governor's Scholar, one of the state's top academic honors, while also cementing his legacy as a three-time individual state cross country champion — one of a select few in Kansas history.
Muehler closed his prep cross country career with a winning time of 15:54 at the state meet and holds the school record in the 3,200 meters on the track. He will continue his career at the University of South Dakota, a Division I program, after graduation.
