Moundridge Girls Varsity Volleyball Sweeps Two
The Wildcats topped Remington and Wichita Classical in straight sets Tuesday.
MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. — The Moundridge varsity girls volleyball team swept both Remington (25-6, 25-13) and Wichita Classical (25-14, 25-16) in straight sets Tuesday night at home. Hattie Hecox led the attack with 17 kills, Brie Moddelmog dished out 15 assists and Halle Hecox paced ball control with four aces and a serve-receive rating of 2.36. "I think we are getting better. We need to continue watching our errors, but our ball control seems to be solidifying and that's the base on which we can build," coach Bryan Otte said.
