Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash with Manhattan mayor
The 21-year-old rider was cited for driving too fast for conditions following the Sunday collision
MANHATTAN, Kan. — A 21-year-old motorcyclist suffered a serious leg injury Sunday afternoon after crashing into a vehicle driven by Manhattan Mayor Susan Adamchak.
Thaddues Thore of Manhattan was riding a 2019 Yamaha Bolt in the 400 block of Zeandale Road at 12:26 p.m. when he struck a 2022 Toyota Venza driven by Adamchak.
Thore was transported to Via Christi Hospital for treatment and was issued a citation for driving too fast for conditions.
