Middle School Girls Tennis Opens Season Strong

MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson Middle School girls tennis team dominated Prairie Hills in its season opener Sept. 10, winning 19-2 overall as every Bullpup singles player claimed a victory. "It was fantastic to see each player experience this level of success at our first dual, and I look forward to seeing how we continue to improve throughout the season," coach Henry Weiner said. Sam Corcoran rallied from a deficit to win 6-4, Alison Palacios edged her opponent 6-5 in a back-and-forth singles match, and Abrielle Yoder won in both singles and doubles in her first middle school tennis matches.
