McPherson Soccer Dominates Mulvane 8-0
Morales records four goals as Bullpups cruise to lopsided victory
The McPherson High School boys soccer team delivered a dominant performance against Mulvane, cruising to an 8-0 victory behind Manny Morales' four-goal outburst. Morales opened the scoring with three first-half goals, assisted twice by Daniel Bowen and once by Jackson Martin, before adding his fourth goal off a Jameson Bowers assist. Ben Bocox and Yahir Valadez also found the net in the first half to give the Bullpups a commanding 6-0 halftime advantage. The offensive onslaught continued after the break with Valadez scoring his second goal assisted by Grayson Broadus, and Niko Orianzzini capping the scoring with an assist from Parker Riemann. McPherson controlled possession throughout, recording 18 shots on goal while goalkeeper Gabe Standfast was only called upon to make one save in the clean sheet victory.
The JV squad also secured a positive result with a 1-0 win, as Ethan Young scored the decisive goal assisted by Kevin Garcia.
