McPherson Schools to Host Athletic Parent Meeting August 14

McPherson USD 418 will hold a parent meeting for all 7th-12th grade athletics on Thursday, August 14, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the McPherson High School theater. Activities Director Shane Backhus will lead the general session, providing families with important athletic guidelines and updates for the upcoming school year before parents transition to fall sport-specific breakout sessions at 6:30 p.m.

The breakout sessions will be held in various rooms at MHS and will cover fall sports for both middle and high school levels. High school sessions include boys soccer, cross country, girls golf, girls tennis, football, and volleyball, while middle school offerings include cross country, girls tennis, football, and volleyball. Parents with questions can contact Shane Backhus at shane.backhus@mcpherson.com. School officials encourage all Bullpup families to mark their calendars for this important informational meeting.
