McPherson Center for Health to Showcase New Providers at Open House
Rural Health Clinic event October 8 will highlight expanded women's health services and family practice physicians

The McPherson Center for Health will host a community open house Wednesday, October 8, to introduce three new healthcare providers and showcase expanded women's health services at the Rural Health Clinic.
The come-and-go event, scheduled from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at 1000 Hospital Drive, will give community members the opportunity to meet Dr. Holly Burt (Family Practice), Dr. Bailee Norton (Family Practice/OB), and Dr. Sarah Buchanan, who joins from Hutch Clinic to provide comprehensive OBGYN services at McPherson Hospital while also delivering babies at the medical center.
"This is an exciting time for our community," said Carol Fickes, Chief of Provider and Clinic Operations. "Having more physicians who can provide family practice, obstetrics, and OBGYN care right here in McPherson means more families in both McPherson and the surrounding communities can stay close to home for the care they need."
The expansion represents a significant enhancement to local healthcare services, particularly for women's health needs in the McPherson area. Dr. Norton's dual expertise in family practice and obstetrics, combined with Dr. Buchanan's specialized OBGYN services, will provide comprehensive care options for expecting mothers and women throughout their lives.
The open house will feature food, drinks, and family-friendly activities, including face painting for children. The casual format is designed to encourage community members to drop by at their convenience, meet the new physicians, and learn more about the services available at the Rural Health Clinic.
The event is free and open to all community members.
