McPherson Boys Soccer Dominates Circle with Twin 8-0 Victories
Bullpups' offensive explosion features Martin hat trick, Saifi's four-goal JV performance
The McPherson boys soccer program delivered a statement performance Tuesday night, with both varsity and junior varsity squads posting identical 8-0 shutout victories over Circle. The varsity Bullpups wasted no time asserting their dominance, erupting for six first-half goals behind a hat trick from Jackson Martin and a masterful playmaking display from Manny Morales, who dished out four assists before adding a goal of his own in the second half. Ben Bocox contributed two goals, while Yahir Valadez, Parker Riemann, and Morales rounded out the scoring as McPherson overwhelmed Circle with relentless offensive pressure.
"Our ball movement and finishing were exceptional tonight," said head coach Chris Adrian, whose team peppered Circle with 11 shots on goal while goalkeeper Gabe Standfast made seven saves to preserve the shutout. The junior varsity squad matched their varsity counterparts' dominance, with Farzad Saifi leading the charge with four goals and Aiden Pattison adding a hat trick. Hayden Siemens also found the net, while six different players recorded assists in the balanced offensive attack.
