McPherson Booster Club to Host Inaugural Banquet
Kansas basketball legend Jackie Stiles headlines November 15 fundraiser at Community Building
The McPherson Bullpup Booster Club will host its first annual banquet Saturday, November 15 at the McPherson Community Building, featuring a keynote address by Kansas basketball legend Jackie Stiles.
The evening begins with doors opening at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and Stiles' keynote address at 7:30 p.m. The event will include an open bar throughout the evening, dinner, and a silent auction with proceeds supporting activities at both McPherson High School and McPherson Middle School.
Last year, the Bullpup Booster Club gave back over $145,000 to student activity programs across both schools, demonstrating the organization's significant impact on extracurricular opportunities for local students.
Seating options range from individual seats at $50 to elite tables of eight for $2,000, with premier tables ($1,000) and reserved tables ($400) also available. Due to limited seating, organizers encourage early reservations.
Stiles, a McDonald's All-American and former Missouri State University star, remains one of the most decorated players in women's college basketball history. She was the 2001 Wade Trophy winner as the nation's top player and led Missouri State to the Final Four that same year.
