MANHATTAN, Kan. — The Manhattan Parks and Recreation Foundation will host a scholarship fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 20, at Cox Bros. BBQ, with 20% of all sales donated to foundation scholarships.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature a BBQ buffet including chicken, pork sliders, mac and cheese, baked beans, potato salad, cornbread, soft drinks, $2 beers and $3 Pott County Tea.

Special guests PJ Haggerty will perform from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by Willie the Wildcat from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The event will include games, prizes and giveaways.

The Manhattan Parks and Recreation Foundation supports recreational programs and facilities in the community through scholarship funding and other initiatives.
