Manhattan MSA maintained an unemployment rate of 3.0 percent in November, well below the statewide rate of 3.8 percent and below the national average of 4.6 percent, according to data released by the Kansas Department of Labor. The rate held steady compared to 3.0 percent recorded a year ago.

The area's labor force totaled 65,399 workers in November, with 63,434 employed and 1,965 actively seeking work.
