Manhattan home-based childcare opens with focus on special needs support
MANHATTAN, Kan. — A new home-based childcare service specializing in support for children with special needs has opened in Manhattan.
Curious Cubs Childcare began enrolling students in September, offering personalized care for infants and older children Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The childcare provider brings four years of experience working with children with special needs in public school settings, according to a Facebook post from the business. The caregiver also worked privately for 6.5 years with a child with severe non-verbal autism.
The program emphasizes individualized attention tailored to each child's learning style and abilities. The childcare approach focuses on building relationships, promoting independence and celebrating individual strengths and achievements, according to promotional materials.
"My in-home daycare provides a safe and engaging space for your little ones to grow, learn, and thrive," the business states on its Facebook page.
The service offers both full-time care and flexible drop-in options for families. Spots are available for children of various ages, including those with special needs.
Parents interested in enrollment can contact Curious Cubs Childcare at 785-410-6749 or through the business's Facebook page.
The childcare is located at 510 Grainfield St., Manhattan, Kansas.
