Law Enforcement Responds to Threat at Kansas Airport, Airspace Closed

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to a threat at Hutchinson Regional Airport on Friday morning, prompting officials to close the surrounding airspace until noon.

The airport closure disrupted air traffic in the area as investigators worked to assess the threat.
