Law Enforcement Responds to Threat at Kansas Airport, Airspace Closed

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to a threat at Hutchinson Regional Airport on Friday morning, prompting officials to close the surrounding airspace until noon.
Authorities said they were investigating the situation but provided no additional details about the nature of the threat. Officials said more information would be released when available.
The airport closure disrupted air traffic in the area as investigators worked to assess the threat.
The airport has been cleared to resume normal operation.
