JV Girls Tennis Bullpups Win Buhler Tournament
McPherson topped seven teams with 29 points to claim first place.
BUHLER, Kan. — The McPherson Bullpups JV girls tennis team won the Buhler Invitational on Saturday, finishing first among eight teams with 29 points. Hattie Krug and Azul Palacios each went 4-0 to win their singles flights, while the doubles pair of Anne-Marie Holmes and Gwen Prieb also went undefeated to claim first, and Lauren Southern and Amanda Lauw closed out a tight 6-5 match under the lights to finish third in the No. 2 doubles bracket.
