JV Boys Tennis Earns Runner-Up at League Tournament
McPherson finishes second behind Wichita Collegiate at the AVCTL JV League Tournament.
MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson JV boys tennis team finished second in the AVCTL League Tournament on Tuesday, tallying 40 points behind champion Wichita Collegiate's 64. Parker Riemann went 3-1 to claim second place in singles, while the doubles team of Aaron Winter and Holtyn Hamblin rebounded from a quarterfinal loss to Collegiate to finish fifth.
