Hutchinson Zoo opens registration for 2026 youth camp programs
HUTCHINSON — The Hutchinson Zoo has opened registration for its 2026 spring and summer camp programs, offering children hands-on experiences with wildlife and educational activities.
The camps combine animal encounters, keeper presentations and creative activities designed to teach participants about wildlife conservation and natural habitats, according to a zoo announcement Friday.
"Camps at the Hutchinson Zoo blend fun with learning, providing an exciting opportunity to explore their relationship with nature," the zoo stated in its Facebook post.
Program participants will engage in direct animal encounters, listen to talks from zoo staff and complete crafts related to wildlife themes.
The zoo is accepting registrations for both seasonal sessions. Spring camp information is available at hutchinsonzoo.org/221/SpringFall-Camps, while summer program details can be found at hutchinsonzoo.org/155/Summer-Camps.
The announcement was posted Dec. 27, giving families advance notice to secure spots in the programs.
Additional information about camp schedules, pricing and age requirements can be obtained through the zoo's website or by contacting the facility directly.
