Hutchinson Zoo announces spring break camp for students

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Zoo is offering a spring break camp focused on animal adventures for students in first through fifth grade.
The camp, titled "2026 Spring Break Camp: Animal Adventures," will run March 16-20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the zoo, located at 6 Emerson Loop East in Carey Park.
Participants will learn about different kinds of animals that call earth home, from turtles to goats. Registration is required.
The cost is $99, or $89 for zoo members.
The zoo is also offering a crepuscular club option for families needing extended care. Children can be dropped off as early as 8 a.m. and picked up as late as 5 p.m. During the extended session, staff will supervise campers and offer free play opportunities, an additional snack and self-paced nature-themed activities.
The crepuscular club costs an additional $40 per camper.
