Hutchinson opens grant program for commercial building improvements

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The City of Hutchinson is now accepting applications for a commercial façade improvement program that provides matching grants to businesses on the south side of the city.

The program covers up to 50% of eligible costs, with grants reaching up to $10,000 per property. Business owners can use the funds for improvements including paint, signage, windows, doors, lighting and other exterior upgrades.

Eligible properties must be located along arterial streets south of and including 11th Avenue.

Program funding is limited each year, and applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis until available funds are exhausted.

For more information, business owners can visit the city's website at hutchinsonks.gov or contact staff at Planning@HutchinsonKS.gov.
