HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Lt. Wesley Vaughn of the Hutchinson Police Department has completed the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association trilogy, the department announced.

The FBI-LEEDA trilogy consists of three intensive leadership courses: the Supervisor Leadership Institute, Command Leadership Institute and Executive Leadership Institute. Each course runs 4½ days and focuses on developing critical leadership skills for law enforcement professionals at different career levels.

The trilogy program is a comprehensive training series designed to enhance leadership competencies through personality diagnostics, case studies, mentoring strategies, performance management and risk assessment. The courses follow a "cops talking to cops" professional development model and address emerging challenges in modern law enforcement.

Officers who complete all three courses receive the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Award, a distinction that recognizes sustained commitment to leadership development. Graduates can also earn college credit through the association's partnerships with six colleges and universities.

FBI-LEEDA is a private, nonprofit organization not affiliated with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The association focuses on advancing law enforcement leadership through premier training, education and networking opportunities for police professionals nationwide.
