Hutchinson High School Launches New Sponsorship Program, Announces Upcoming Athletic Events
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson High School Athletics has unveiled new sponsorship opportunities for local businesses while announcing several upcoming events to kick off the fall sports season.
The Salthawks are offering multiple sponsorship tiers for their 2025 football season, ranging from $300 for quarter-page advertisements to $1,500 for "Play of the Week" sponsorships. The program includes both digital and print advertising options through the school's "Story of the Season" weekly publication.
"Story of the Season" is a digital interactive magazine published weekly that highlights local businesses and connects them directly to the athletic program's website and social media platforms, according to promotional materials. The publication reaches thousands of people through email distribution, QR codes at games and social media.
The athletics department is also promoting an all-season basketball video board sponsorship for $500, featuring digital advertising during basketball games.
Several community events are scheduled for late August. The annual Blue & Gold event is set for Aug. 29 at Gowans Stadium, with activities starting at 5:30 p.m. and scrimmages beginning at 7 p.m. The event will feature football games, food trucks, shaved ice and introductions of fall sports teams including youth football, middle school football and high school football.
The Salthawk Baseball program has scheduled its second annual golf tournament for Aug. 30 at Carey Park Golf Course. Check-in begins at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The four-person scramble tournament supports the high school baseball program.
Tournament organizers report only 10 teams have registered so far, with a goal of 25 teams. The event will include lunch, raffle items and prizes.
