Hutchinson Community Foundation opens grant applications for Reno County nonprofits

The Hutchinson Community Foundation is accepting grant proposals for Impact Cycle 1 of its 2026 Fund for Reno County Grants program, with applications due Feb. 13.
The foundation is offering funding in three categories for projects serving Reno County.
Community and Economic Development grants of up to $50,000 are available for projects that strengthen the community and local economy. Eligible initiatives include building a diverse workforce, activating central business districts or downtowns, supporting existing businesses, attracting new businesses and encouraging entrepreneurs. Projects that enhance quality of place through placemaking in public spaces and improving housing quality and accessibility also qualify.
Strong Organizations grants of up to $7,500 support projects that strengthen the capacity, sustainability and effectiveness of Reno County community-based organizations.
Community Catalyst grants of up to $2,500 fund projects that improve community engagement, communication, confidence and pride.
501(c)(3) organizations and fiscally sponsored groups serving Reno County are eligible to apply.
