The renovation and expansion will allow the Food Bank of Reno County to provide nutritious food with dignity through partnerships with community organizations, offering hope and stability to children, families and seniors facing food insecurity.

Food bank officials envision a future where no neighbor wonders where their next meal will come from. The organization strives to create a community where everyone has dependable access to nutritious food that sustains health and dignity.

The expanded facility will increase the food bank's capacity to receive and distribute food from local donors, farmers and retailers while improving safety and workflow for staff and senior volunteers.

The improvements will allow staff to serve every person who comes to their door, eliminating the need to turn people away.
