Hutchinson Community College to Host Fan Event Thursday

HUTCHINSON, Kan. (AP) — Hutchinson Community College will host its annual Blue Dragon FanFest on Thursday at Gowans Stadium.

The free public event begins at 7 p.m. and will showcase student-athletes from the college's football, volleyball, soccer and spirit squad programs.

Attendees will have opportunities to meet players and coaches, obtain autographs, take photographs and collect schedule posters for the upcoming athletic seasons.

The college will provide complimentary snow cones to event participants.

FanFest serves as the college's preseason kickoff event, allowing the community to connect with Blue Dragon athletic programs before competition begins.

The event is open to all ages and requires no admission fee or advance registration.
