HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Community College's Allied Health Programs celebrated a remarkable milestone this week as all 18 radiology technology students achieved a 100% pass rate on their American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) exam for the seventh consecutive year.
The students, who graduated from the program in late July, have successfully become registered radiologic technologists after passing their first attempt at the national certification exam. This achievement continues an unprecedented streak of excellence that began seven years ago.
"We're so proud of their hard work and grateful for our outstanding team who guided them to success," the college announced on its social media channels Tuesday.
The radiology technology program at Hutchinson Community College, located at 1300 N. Plum St., has established itself as a leader in healthcare education within the region. The consistent 100% pass rate demonstrates the quality of instruction and preparation students receive throughout their coursework.
Radiologic technologists play a critical role in healthcare, operating imaging equipment to help physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. The ARRT certification is required for professional practice in most states and serves as the national standard for the profession.
The college's Allied Health Programs division oversees multiple healthcare-related educational tracks designed to prepare students for careers in the rapidly growing medical field.
Hutchinson Community College serves students throughout south-central Kansas and maintains a strong reputation for career-focused programs that directly connect graduates to employment opportunities in their communities.
