Hutchinson Art Center Opens Submissions for 2025 Members Art Show

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Art Center is accepting artwork submissions from association members for its 2025 Members Art Show, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 2.

The exhibition welcomes artists of all ages and accepts all mediums, encouraging members to showcase their recent creative work. Current Hutchinson Art Association membership is required for participation.

Artists may submit one piece each to the exhibit, with exceptions considered case-by-case for diptychs and triptychs. Both two-dimensional and three-dimensional artwork will be accepted, with submissions limited to a maximum of 5 feet in width, height and depth.

Only artwork completed within the past two years will be accepted. All submissions must include an attached note listing the artist's name, piece title, price or "Not For Sale" designation, medium and year of creation. The note should be attached to the back of 2D pieces or the bottom of 3D works.

Two-dimensional artwork must be ready to hang with either a wire or sawtooth hanger on the back.

Artwork delivery is accepted between Sept. 2 and Oct. 17 during operational hours, with a final deadline of 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17.

An opening reception is scheduled for Oct. 24 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hutchinson Art Center. The event is free and open to participating artists, their families and friends, association members and the general public.
