Holiday Joy 2025 Senior Angel Blessing Bags Drive Underway

McPHERSON — The McPherson County Council on Aging is collecting donations for its Holiday Joy 2025 Senior Angel Blessing Bags program, an initiative designed to bring comfort and joy to seniors in the community this holiday season.

Organizers are seeking a variety of essential and comfort items including laundry soap, dish soap, toilet tissue, toothbrush and toothpaste, denture supplies, deodorant, bath and shower soaps, shampoo, lotions, socks for men and women, gloves and scarves, lip balms, puzzle books, holiday cards with envelopes, and stamps.

The blessing bags will be distributed to seniors throughout McPherson County, providing them with practical necessities and thoughtful gifts during the holiday season.

Community members can drop off donations at the McPherson County Council on Aging office or at any local senior center. For those unable to deliver donations, pickup service is available by calling 620-241-4383 or texting Jill at 620-504-4877.

The program aims to ensure that seniors in the community feel remembered and valued during the holidays while also addressing practical needs throughout the winter months.
